Looked up garage sales today and clicked on several and they were auctions. I thought this was a garage sale app?

Showed me where to go!!! Yea

The map is clear and easy to use, locations were accurate, but there’s no way to contact the owner of the sale for updates or cancellations. As a result, at least 4 out of the 5 sales we tried in one day were NOT THERE. One had a sign posted outside that it was canceled due to weather (even though there were only a few drops of rain, and it had already been postponed from the previous week). The others just mysteriously weren’t there. No signs, nothing. I double checked location, dates, everything, but surmised that they must have all been canceled for whatever reason and NO UPDATE was provided. This is highly inconvenient as we ended up traveling for a few hours!! If no contact # is available, and the owners won’t post updates out of consideration, the app should at least give users the option of “flagging” a sale if they discover it’s been canceled. (I saw this was an option for some of the sales that were linked to gsalr.com. But those that aren’t linked can’t be reported within the app.)

I never find anything

I thought I’d give this one more try I used to love this app. Very disappointed. Just doesn’t show local sales. The developers should find a better way to cultivate local sales and populate the app. No stars from me.

When it works, it is great. I input a sale and select done and nothing shows on the map. Not sure if I am doing something wrong? Sometimes I have to try 4-5 times before it will add it.

This app usto be great but hardly any sales show up now. You will have to look them up manually.

This app is bad in so many ways, very amateur. I thought getting the paid version might make it better, wrong. Don’t waste your money!

The app works but I only get search results for about 25% of sales in my area. Please expand the number of sites used for finding data. Cool features, functions a bit slow, but fails to find enough sales in my area. GarageSaleFinder site finds 8 sales while this app only finds 2. Bummer, paid for a subscription but this is largely useless since I still have to rely on other sources.

I paid for this based on a YouTuber i follow’s recommendation. This app is useless. It doesn’t pick up any sales, you have to hunt them down yourself and add them. What a waste, pretty disappointed

This app requires more steps than are needed by just using a pencil and paper. I think it probably does wonderful things for those that can figure out how to use it. But for me, I open it and there are no sales shown. If I have to look them up and make entries myself, I don’t need this app. Too bad. I have used it in the past and it behaved as expected. I must have something set incorrectly. I surely would not pay to subscribe if I can’t figure out how to use it.

Must be down or something. App has shown no sales in 3 weeks but they’re advertised online everywhere and I’ve been hitting them up no problem. I pay for the app to be able to see them all in one place and map out my route. Hope it gets fixed soon

Hey, developers. If you merge this to pick up Facebook marketplace sales? Seems Craigslist isn’t the place to go to anymore, sadly.

Crashes on launch for iOS 12 Fail

This app was really great before you had to subscribe where it was once free. Money hungry and greedy developers I guess. There are many other ways to find out where sales are without wasting money on an app. It is a shame.

This app was great when people used Craigslist to post sales… now that everything is on Facebook it never shows any sales! So disappointing! Please find a way to pull sales from facebook marketplace!

I’m not happy. This was the first app I ever paid for. If you love garage sales, you hesitate spending money frivolously. I lived in Germany for two years so I couldn’t use this. One of the first things I did when I came back was redownload and pay. The app no longer pulls sales from Craigslist! This app is useless now. I use to recommend this app to anyone who would listen, but I will never pay again. Disappointing.

Features that were once free are now subscription only. I used to be able to view Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but now I only get the current day and Saturday. Everything else is behind a paywall. I’ve got no issues paying but not when I have to pay for things that used to be included in the free version.

Scammed out of $4.99 for an app that does nothing!

I used to love this app and have paid for a subscription for years, but for the last year or so it hasn’t been picking up hardly any of the sales in the area. A quick check on other sites shows me there should be dozens showing in my area (as there used to always be) but I only see a handful in the entire city and surrounding suburbs now. I reached out to customer service many months ago and never received any reply. I can see from other reviews that I’m not the only one this has happened to. Don’t waste your money, the app is broken.

A user used this app to make a fake listing for our house and post it. We are not having a sale and we can not get the app to remove this listing. This site is absolute trash and should be removed.

I’ve never wrote a review before but this app is so dumb and useless that I had to write this one. Advertising makes it seem great (found this app thru an ad on Facebook) download the app then it wants you to make an account to do anything only for it to tell you that you need to subscribe! So basically you get the app for free, have to give it your info (including email so they can spam you) only for it to tell you in order to do something as simple as search yard sales by zip code that you need to subscribe and pay them. I don’t mind microtransactions that much but when it advertises as a free app only to you to download for free any pay do actually do anything in app is so frustrating and dumb. App is a great concept but at least be transparent about the massive paywall before I waste my time and data downloading this “free” app

This is the third year I’ve subscribed to Yard Sale Treasure Map. There used to be soooo many yard sales listed in my city and now the app identifies only 2-3 on weekends. In reality there are hundreds of yard sales on any given weeekend. Why doesn’t Yard Sale Treasure Map identify them any more?

This app tells you very little unless you subscribe. Most settings are blocked. Very disappointing.

Something happened to this app now it’s showing no sales at all.

This app used to be fantastic — but no more. It shows few sales, few photos,... The features are still great, but without listing many of the garage sales in the area, it is relatively useless.

I thought for the past couple months that wow, the pandemic really killed garage sales in my area but I finally went to Craigslist to cross check and it seems like something happened where FAR fewer listings are shown. I hope they fix!

We used to love this app and found it very useful. Currently it’s pulling NO sales in our city and that is NOT reflective of what is on Craigslist. Other friends tell me they are having same experience. Don’t recommend.

Everytime I try to open the app, it crashes. It’s been like this for about a month. Time to find a new app.

Downloaded it because 4.7 stars. Tap on it and it crashes immediately.

Previous yea4s this app had most yard sales. In 2022 it seems they stopped supporting it and it is not getting feeds. I am lucky if I get 3 sales on a Saturday, but when I drive around there are many. Does it pull from fb marketplace

To try the search page Then figured just the map is available. Not a good introductory to start wanting to use the app

I’ve used this app for years and it worked well. However, now in 2022, the spring garage sales are flourishing - but most aren’t on this app! I knew there had to be more so I checked other apps - I could see 6 in my general area on this app but 19 in the same area on others. I’d have missed quite a few sales that had exactly what I was looking for. Truthfully I’d like to use this app because I like some features but what use is it if the sales aren’t there?

How can you tell if your subscription has expired? Also appears to not capture all the yard sales from CL

I don't know what happened with this app but it's almost useless now. Last year it was great. Now it barely displays any listings and, the listings that do display, have no information other than a location.

I don’t think looking up garage sales should cost money

Used this a couple of years ago and had no issues. Apparently it doesn’t sync up with Craigslist postings anymore. Paid for the subscriptions but it slant show any sales.

No yard sales showing on this app however there is at least 6 showing on Craigslist No way of contacting anyone to help with the app Save your money find another app

Used to be a great app. I am a paid subscriber. All the updates have made it so you can no longer upload or view sales on the map. They simply don’t show up, I’ve been opening the app to a blank map for a couple of weeks. The sales I enter even disappear shortly after I enter them.

Use this app for years until about a year ago. Most of the yard sales were carried over from people posting on craigslist. Now instead of maybe 30 or 40 yard sales in my area I get one or two. This is the first year I have not re-subscribed in over five or six years. Not worth it. Now garbage. They need to redo their contract with craigslist.

Craigs List no longer allows free access to their data, and no one inputs info.

I used this always, I repurchased it 2022, now there is no content just a picture of map Hopefully the app maker will either reimburse me the 4.99 or fix it.

It used to be the best to search and save yard sales, but sadly it barely has any listings as it can no longer pull Craigslist adds.

Paid for the $4.99 subscription and they literally took away features. App is a scam. Total rip-off I WANT MY MONEY BACK

I love this app but since 2022 there have been no sales popping up on the app. I have friends who use this app also in different areas and they all say the same thing. Please fix this so I can keep treasure hunting.

I used to use this app all the time to find yard sales and loved it. But now that it’s not connected to Craigslist it’s useless! I will NOT be renewing my subscription.

The app no longer offers useful info. Sad, up until several months ago it was a useful app. That is no longer the case.

This app will automatically charge your apple account without authorization! It’s a total scam! DO NOT DOWNLOAD! THERE WAS NO OBVIOUS QUESTION IF I WANTED TO PURCHASE. JUST A EMAIL AFTER I USED IT THAT I PURCHASED IT. TRIED TO CANCEL AND WAS UNABLE TO DO SO!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!

I bought the premium version of this app about two weeks ago, and the feature where it would show a checkmark when you’ve already looked at a yard sale was working then, but sometime from then to now, it’s not functioning properly. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, i think it’s something on the backend. I didn’t want to rate this below five stars because it’s an amazing app, but I would like this to be fixed
